Day 17: Letting go

Let go of your earthly tether. Detach yourself from the realm of the mundane; from worldly honor, from self pleasure, and even shame. You are a spirit who possesses a soul, momentarily placed inside a body. Nothing in this world could truly ever satisfy. Though we are in the world, we are not of the world. Why hold on to that which diminishes your spirit? Pride & glory, silver & gold; all just vast deserts of emptiness. Be like the wind, and let it all go. Breathe through this world finding true beauty. The beauty that resides in things unseen, the beauty that is divine. Be like the wind, both gentle and gustful; calm and furious.
