Day 25: Mercy’s War
Love bleeds, in ways you never thought possible. Make no mistake, love means war; a war fought not with ordinary swords, but swords of mercy. Love is a double-edged sword, a stronghold of truth. It turns fathers against their daughters, sons against their mothers, wives against their husbands. Yet it sustains no casualties. With the tears of the broken hearted, and the prayers of the humble, love overwhelms; it has already won the war. Hold fast in it’s fort, come the dawn you shall see scarlet gold waiving like a banner. Death will not fall upon you, the divine will overcome. For death is but momentary, an instant in time; it is what comes after which matters. With war comes death, but love brings life. Fight for love, pick up your sword, and lay it down; because love has already won.
